yep...during my trips to Long Island and New York for the bank I noticed that all the trees looked mature and over grown. I was thinking you get even 50-60mph winds with saturated ground these are coming over. Most will be coming over on a power grid that antiquated to say the least.

if the subways flood....then you can expect there underground power faults to flood with saltwater....man it going to be bad if this happens....

the nyse might have enough power but there will be plenty of offices that either dont have power or wont have manpower to staff the trading desks, the trading session will be anything but normal

The subways will not be up and running until the afternoon. Not to mention how much damage there will be that needs to be cleaned up. Most of their employees will not be able to get to work. Please don't get the idea that most New Yorkers are like those greedy people. We are not. For most of us, safety comes first.
