60 mph gust at Broward Medical Center in Pompano Beach. Reports of power outages in Sunrise area. As reported by WSVN.

On this wider SAT view, you can see how large the storm is and how its starting to wrap itself up. Getting some descending air off the Cuban mainland now which is putting a lid on heavy convection. With daytime heating and as the storm pulls away from Cuba, I expect a CDO to develop this afternoon.

we have been up for hours while you were sleeping...its been typical stuff, feeder band rolls through, exciting for 5 minutes and then bright skies..couple of people in boca reported transformers blowing but nothing like that in NE FLL

Homestead reporting in. Had a cell around 3:30 am that woke me up due to the rain & wind. Some minor t-storm activity, but so far, nothing sustained or terribly exciting lol. I'm grateful to still have power.....

Looks like it is an overshooting top with cirrus building the CDO.

Feeder band coming through Coral Springs now. Got real dark and gusty and of course, it's pouring.

Well it looks like Isaac didn't completely blow up overnight like he had the potential to, but it seems apparent he did strengthen a little. Radar presentation looks a bit better than it did last night and it looks like he is also going be to losing that thunderstorm complex off of southeast cuba soon that may have been stealing moisture and energy from the circulation. I think a hurricane is still within reach by this afternoon or tonight, in my unofficial opinion.

I think RECON's gonna find a stronger storm shortly. Once that dry slot fills in off to the SE, its takeoff time. Good outflow and NHC projects it to slow over the next 24 hrs and turn more NW as it rounds the subtropical ridge.

To my untrained eye it looks like the center may move just to the right of the next NHC point on radar. Hopefully just a wob.

Across the street from Coral Square.

Still dark, rainy and windy. PLEASE stay on, power. No flickering yet.

If we had a dollar for every time someone thought this thing was taking off then I would be evacuating to Europe for a week whether Isaac was coming to my house or not. Maybe this time it actually is about to strengthen

Yeah I know what you mean, that being said it seems to have very little reason not to strengthen at this point.

Still too close to land. Once it gets clear of Cuba and across the Keys, things may start to change.
