Hey, that's a great link! I didn't know about it but it's bookmarked now.

I see the STJ is definitely open for business and I also see that shortwave digging down the Pacific coast. So, with the talk from the south Texas WFOs about some mild coastal trough development, I wonder if that is going to be spurred by this digging Pacific shortwave. As we talked about earlier this week, coastal low or trough development in the winter is often dictated by upper level energy traversing the state from west to east. Is it this particular shortwave which is supposed to help create the overrunning?
