Scary stuff for those who see this and live in SC such as my friend Charleston-Hugo-Veteran but also we know that this changes with every run of the models so dont take this as a stone thing as this is days away and however is the first model that has a landfall anywhere at the east coast. :o

cycloneye.....what a wonderful thing to wake up to this beautiful morning!

Our Governor is starting preparation, if things don't change, tomorrow! We have virtually no national guardsman, he said they will have to be called in from other states. Bummer! It's a slow waiting game!

Hey Cyc, thought eary this AM that it may be looking more like a Carolina problem. But again, as you said it is just way to early to write this in stone. Recon, we need recon!! Let's see if she has any changes for us today.

To it's favor UKMET has done a good job this season so it has to be taken under consideration and NHC says so in their discussions.

Yes WNW after that west track that has now but of course all this may change as a strong ridge builds after 5 days and this scenario that UKMET presents may not be correct because of that but points south of that location may see it however as I have said as Isabel takes it's time moving west many scenarios can happen so the best all who live from SOUTH FLORIDA TO MAINE must watch the progress of Isabel.

It will change Chadman. Its not going wnw anytime soon. I think to say a Carolina landfall attm is premature.

Usually this time of year that tends to be the pattern. But this is a different situation. It could actually work in reverse. All depends on the strength and placement of the trough and ridge.

Yes.. the Models are trending toward the Carolinas or North... though until we do see that super tanker start making a turn even Florida needs to keep an eye out:):)
