They fizzled out extremely quickly, doesn't sound like they were true monsters. What's your take on that?

This is cool, storms and convection is just shooting (unzipping) from that point and training new severe storms. Then you can see the tail all the way to extreme southern Texas!

From the cams that http://www.abc3340.com/category/220454/ ... -7-weather is showing, there is a ton of lightning with the line of embedded supercells. Still the same number of TOR warnings as 1.5 hours ago.
A TOR warned supercell in NC was not expected, currently severe warned but a slight hook remains. Also, are people suddenly forgetting you can get strong tornadoes in a quasi-line? Seems like Spann is on the "well, things are slowing transitioning, not classic anymore" stuff. No mention of the incredible parameters...
