NEW ENGLAND STRIKE?

#1 Postby AussieMark » Sat Sep 13, 2003 7:51 pm

Is Isabel looking more and more like a New Engalnd strike.

What are the odds of her re-enacting the Rhode Island Express hurricane of 1938.

Be Prepared Just In Case

At this point everyone on the east coast should watch Isabel. It's still too early to say where she's headed.

I'm thinking the same thing, but I figure that each storm makes its own history, and doesn't behave a certain way just because one years ago moved a certain way. One thing I don't see happening is a rapid northward movement like '38. We just have to kepp watching and be prepared.

That could be worse for us on Long Island and NYC. That would subject us to the right side.
