As a Progress Energy customer who hopes we don't need them, thanks!

Many prayers go out to those who make the trip to help in the aftermath and those affected by Isabel. If I was closer, I would be on my way too!! We went down to Homestead after Andrew and it felt really good to be helping in a time like that! Don't forget the ones who have no family or are alone in the aftermath. They will need to be checked on and helped if needed.

I heard on the Wilmington radio station WGNI that they have help coming in as far west as Wisconsin. I know that both North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach city sent workers to Florida after Andrew, and I think it is a testament to what great citizens we have in this country to see how help comes pouring in from all over when there is a disaster.

Yes..This country is truely an example of how people come together to help those in need. Hopefully it won't be that badbeentthru6 wrote:I heard on the Wilmington radio station WGNI that they have help coming in as far west as Wisconsin. Can't agree any more than this....those crews and linemen/women rarely get the recognition they deserve....

We had a medical team fly out today, and trucks with medical supplies left Naples. Seems the entire country are ready to help out. Stay safe all in Isabell's path.

Well I was southbound this morning about 9am on I75 just north of Ocala. I passed about 20 line trucks and at least two flat bed tractor trailers loaded with spools of wire. I am not familiar with what company it was because I have never ran across any yellow trucks. I know it was not Florida Power or SECO. Any how they were in a convoy headed north.

Yea it was a good feeling. A nice straight section of road and a line of yellow trucks caught my eye. I had been up since 4 am, driving since 5 am and thought I was seeing things I don't think it was SECO. They have green trucks like Florida Power unless they are changing the color. I make deliveries to Florida Power and SECO and have never seen any yellow one's. I think Florida Power is changing over to white trucks now that they changed their name to Progress Energy.
