Evening Issy thoughts

Not much to say, really.

System is likely closer to 80KT than 90KT based upon the latest recon wind messgaes. (Yes, i did chicken out and go 90KT at landfall http://www.nwhhc.com/atlantic13fd.html ) In addition, the pressure rose 3mb from earlier this evening, not a sign of a system that is intensifying.

Looks like a weak cat 2 or a cat 1 coming into the coast now, unless the eye really tightens up and convection fires over the system. However, this still could cause significant damage.

A few days ago I'd have never though that this would end up as another Gloria; however, history sure has a way of repeating itself. A cat 5 dramatially weakens as it mvoes towards the U.S. East Coast

I am sure there are alot of people like me who spent many hours getting prepared for the worst but don't mind at all that she has turned into a "Rubber Duckey". I really hope she does not make a last stand intensification, but she has been such a strange system you never know.

I think the angle it's coming ashore is more important than if it's 90 kts or 100 kts.Also if it's High Tide when it makes landfall.

latest recon shows FL winds back up to 109KT and that the pressure has fallen slightly, back to 955
