Needless to say this run has my attention seeing as how my home and office resides in Wilmington, NC. Any further west and Hazel really does fit the bill for an analog. Now we wait and see what ECMWF shows us.

No not yet...which is actually somewhat concerning considering a lot of people say the safest place to be is in the bullseye 7-10 days out.

Today's 12z Euro was a hit or pretty darn close to it.

GFS goes west with NC hit about 938-940mb between Wilmington and MHX. The Canadian scrapes the Outer Banks of NC pretty much the same track but slightly east and slower.

Yea it was a close call but remained offshore. I'm tempted to say the 0z Euro will shift east a touch but I'm not sure. I just have this feeling that "Matthew" will stay east of Florida.

Hard to say with some shifting in both directions.

Hard to guess regarding the EURO. But my guess is that it rides the East Coast of Florida a bit more inland before lifting out to sea.

Im thinking east personally if it keeps its forward speed at the current 15 to 20mph at last nhc update.
