That Ukmet track is terrible, doesn't miss anything from Florida all the way to Nova Scotia (not to mention Haiti, Cuba, and Bahamas). And, half of it stays over water most of the way there.

06z GFS running, just a tad east so far of the 00z run through 48 hours:

Just when the euro and GFS agree, the GFS trends east..

I think the key here is how the center adjusts once it crosses the mountainous eastern tip of Cuba (and also how/if it interacts with 98L). The 06z GFS run has a sudden jump north in to the Bahamas instead of a more casual northwest motion like the 00z run.
