Heavy rainfall in Mt. Pleasant, SC right now. Pretty decent wind gusts too.

Anyone know how high the water got near the ampitheater?
I hate to self-promote but I've put all the links for most TV stations and best Amateur Radio websites which have live video and audio in one place:

Anyone else thinking that once again (as in Floyd, or Irene, for instance) inland flooding might be the story of this storm (for the US at least)?
Here are projected rain totals in the Carolinas... and Eastern NC is already saturated.

That's not good. They have been inundated the past few weeks and I fear flooding will be a nightmare in the Low Country.

In spite of their stupidity, I do feel sympathy for them. But I certainly echo your sentiments regarding the emergency managers.

It loads fast for me on Storm2k but slower on other sites.
It's definitely needed right now as I sit on this bridge.
Really strong gusts coming straight down the Intracoastal Waterway.

Re: ATL: MATTHEW - Hurricane - Discussion
Latest pass by the P-3 had an extrapolated pressure down a bit to 946.5mb. Probably not a true decrease at the surface, but the core continues to hold itself together very well. Only 12 hours until landfall/closest approach to Charleston, so not a lot of time for substantial weakening at this point.
SFMR had surface winds again of 87 kt, very consistent with recent numbers.

Thank you! I expect some of the stations to go offline soon in Savannah-SC area. Man this storm has been one for the record books when considering the number of people impacted from the Caribbean to the US.

Unlikely. Unless Nicole strengthens, it will probably dissipate first.

I'm so tired of cleaning up and no power I just won't accept emotionally Matt looping back... Crazy, obviously a shell of his current self at that time...

I was just thinking...too bad Pat Prokop retired just last year. He was one of the more level-headed TV mets I've had the pleasure of seeing over the years. Best of luck to those along the GA/SC coasts. It's gonna be a long night ahead.
