dont focus on the line, that turn could happen before or after the peninsula, there is support for either, also there is track error to the left and right even if you choose to focus on the lime..multiple ways for florida to get hit hard..it can be hit if the track adjusts north and the system continues on a path to the gulf..it can also be hit on the turnWeatherGuesser wrote:Five Day cone still shows no turn and put it nears the FL Keys by Sunday.

The hurricane is moving around the
periphery of the Atlantic subtropical ridge, which in fact is quite
strong at this time. This persistent pattern should keep Irma on a
general westward track for the next 24 hours, with a west-northwest
track thereafter.
