Re: Texas Winter 2017-2018
there are some slight sleet (maybe graupel) outside here in Pecan Grove. Very light though.
It was cool to see pockets of sleet or whatever on the corners of the houses coming home today!

With the skies clearing the temp has dropped really quickly. We are already at 15.

Radar showing snow over Beaumont but no one in my family is seeing anything. Must be evaporating before it reaches the ground.

light precip here in Tomball. Looks much more like freezing drizzle than snow though.

Seems the window is slowly closing on snow, but ice pellets might be around.

Doesn't look like it"s going to be much of an event here, but it's hard to complain after having two bouts of winter weather in less than a month down here, with one being a nice snow...

Don’t think HRRR was showing snow in Houston proper until around 10 pm...

Re: Texas Winter 2017-2018
Having light sleet and snow flurry mix in the Spring Branch area of Houston. Not enough accumulation to be concerned with so far. Last check about 10 minutes ago was VERY light flurries without any sleet. OCM say it is ending, but I haven't seen it stop for the last hour here at my place. But like I said, no accumulation to speak of yet.

Definite snow coming down. Local weather calls for 80% chance of snow for a little while. But it is still coming down.
