J. Maximum Flight Level Temp & Pressure Altitude Inside Eye: 19°C (66°F) at a pressure alt. of 1,523m (4,997ft)

Major street flooding underway in the Martin County area.

A trampoline was blown into a power line in an earlier, possibly tornadic storm

But remarks do mention that strongest winds were 46 miles from the center. It’s not a large Atlantic type sub-tropical storm. In that case strongest winds might be 150 miles or so from center. But these winds are still loosely wrapped around a large dry center.

A hurricane. The general rule for any subtropical storm once it reaches category 1 winds is to move it into a tropical designation (ala Alex 2016).

Good Evening everyone, Alberto has intenfied per Recon and NHC to 65mph with pressure dropping to 991mb. It's been an fun storm to track so far (on account that it hasn't and hopefully won't hurt anyone). We've had been receiving some fast moving heavy downpours here and there in Jax associated with Alberto. There were reports earlier today of some waterspouts in the bands offshore per NWS too. The cells in those bands were rotating on radar, so I wouldn't be surprised. At the same time, we remember and honor the fallen this Memorial Day weekend for their sacrifice for our freedom and service to this great country.

Seems to be moving very little right now. But as it does make its way onshore, should experience a larger area of strong winds than in a “normal” 65 mph trop storm.
