Headed through WF now

Well then I believe it, haha. But nah, I meant that I’m more skeptical of it holding together long enough to reach dfw. Probably a better chance of the line making it through the area, but still probably in quite a weakened state

the HRRR barely has any rain lol. The NAM is better but its still a very skinny line

Go figure. The one I post a HRRR model run and it happened.....

Time to buy a lottery ticket? Hope everyone gets out ok from that storm.

The NWS radar was white DBZ for a frame or two, that's crazy.

Hope it weakens and does not make it here. SPC mentions a cap for DFW so I guess it might weaken?

Wow, I can see the lightning and hear the thunder from that storm. It's over 3 counties away. Must be anvil lighting. Looking west from Ponder. :double:

According to my radar it’s not weakening but the hail is definitely shrinking in size. Down to 2” now from 3” earlier. Winds down from 70 to 60mph. Seems weird to me because there’s lots of deep reds associated with it. If you were to ask me just by looking at the radar, it seems stronger now than what it was an hour ago.

The trajectory to me right now would favor more Fort Worth than Dallas with that SE motion

It split, seems to be doing something just east of the main storm but just west of me. The lightning show is phenomenal. My two little ones don't want to go to bed now, scary storm is coming.

Ft Worth just got added to the watch. Here we go. Can't believe those earlier HRRR runs look to be holding.
