Just enough surface dry air for the precip to evaporate here in Hideaway just on the N side of I-20. Heavier rates are just a couple miles south of here.

The first part of February 2017 was quite warm across Oklahoma and
adjacent parts of Texas. On this date in 2017, widespread
temperatures in the 70s and 80s were reported, with some 90s across
southwest Oklahoma and western north Texas. The Oklahoma Mesonet
observation site near Mangum, in southwest Oklahoma north of Altus,
recorded a high temperature of 99 degrees. This tied for the highest
wintertime temperature ever recorded in Oklahoma.

Just wondering if DFW area still looking at snow on Sunday and Monday?
The models jumping around from 10" to 3.8" is just driving me nuts! LOL. When is the best time to really have a good idea of what we will be truly in store for here? Just asking so I can get some work done here at the office! LOL

Keep in mind that the 2011 Summer was a La Nina & this year's looks to be more Neutral . . .

I hope but several models are showing temps in the Central Pacific dropping past April and let's not forget that these winter systems are killing a lot of flora as well as drying it out. Even with spring rains, this summer could be very bad for fires. I think it will be a very hot summer as well.
