It’s here. Starting to see a wind shift.

Edit: and temp drop.

Anybody know why pressure rose all morning? It’s supposedly supposed to fall before a front, not rise.

WPC is insane! 4-6 inches of rain is possible for DFW in the next 6 days.

Marks the end of the early season heat wave, which for the period was the hottest and earliest of its kind by average for the northwestern half to 2/3rds of the state. Good riddance.

That area of the state doesn’t even need the rain that much. Smh

Yep and towards Memorial Day, the Euro is showing a developing ridge over the Ohio River Valley. It looks like we should stay average to below-average concerning temperatures for a while.

EPS mean still shows 2.5-4 inches mean for SE Texas. That means most areas will receive a minimum amount of this range with some areas getting even more. I think the WPC is siding more with the GEFS for some reason on the outlook.

Friday morning our low here is 62°. I can’t wait! I have to work outside a lot so I’ll take whatever kinda heat relief I can get.

Front is through DFW. Feels great!

Only downside is models were predicting 0.5-1" of rain for this weekend earlier in the week. It's likely going to verify 0.00" at DFW or close.

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

Kind of crazy we are excited about a cool down in May as if it were late August or September .

Especially after a early season heatwave. We were so ready for this!

Daytime high was 63 here. I saw people wearing parkas at the live shots of the PGA

But yeah the reason this cold snap is such a big deal is the record heat last few weeks

Mine is 59°F, one of the coldest highs on record for May, it’s expected to fall to 48°F per NWS forecast, KFOR says 45°F for OKC.
The low was 53°F

The AC unit in a bedroom getting a huge break, the main unit has been replaced by my uncle as well as the AC/Furnace unit. Everything at my house is being replaced this year it seems.
