I can't believe this poll hasn't been made yet. Maybe people are too busy season cancelling? :lol:

Anyway, this might be one of the more anticipated storm formation polls this season...

Honestly looking at the models, September 6th seems like a good bet.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

If you believe 17 Euro-AI runs in a row you’d have to bet on around Sept 2-3 in or near the NE Caribbean. So, option #2 for me.

Yep, season's over. No Francine this year. :lol:

I put in for Aug 30 although it was sort of tempting to go earlier for some reason.

Went with August 30-September 5. And I have a feeling it’s going to be a long-tracking, powerful Cape Verde system, kind of following the general behavior of its predecessor from 6 years ago.

Going with August 30th-September 5th, and I’m thinking it’ll be that Cape Verde hurricane the AI-Euro has been showing for several days now. It’s definitely possible a shorty in the Gulf steals the name before then, though.

GFS ensembles suggest the last day or two of August, or the first few days of September.

Gulf shortie will probably take Francine and the dreaded CV hurricane will be Gordon. That's my guess

Do not take anything I say seriously as a form of meteorological prediction. I am not a meteorologist; I don't think being in law school translates to any special knowledge. I am just a somewhat bullish amateur watcher.
