Nice. Still all sleet in Grand Prairie. I am too far south.

There's another batch of higher returns coming your way. Airport is fluff balls again.

Its more of a sleet snow mixture now. I have to drive north to Coppell later so I will see better snow up there.

Can someone explain the dynamics of the event for me please? It seems like it’s moving at a pretty good clip north east. Will more moisture back build or what?

WOW.

Just had a MAJOR snowband come through. It switched from sleet completely to snow. Didn't hear pings. It lasted a good 15 minutes, now a mix again.

Road white.

I see no evidence of freezing rain so far. Grill is dry. Just been sleet/snow.

Yup matches with the HRRR and RAP. Big shifts further north today with short range guidance but looks like GEFS was closest yesterday.

As the day goes on the western areas will get dryslot as things shift from ULL to the gulf low. Moisture and warmth will surge northward where the two meet with cold will get some bigger snow totals tonight. Before then though as the moisture/warm surges northward need to see where that delineating line is. My two cents!

Thank you for the explanation. I was just curious if my area was going to get more or not.
