Keep the hope. Late tonight closer to midnight you could switch over to all snow in Coryell county. Not as confident down there but there's a shot.

Yay. High gas bills for longer. Atmos really jacked up their rates in the past 2-3 months. Our gas bill is higher than normal under similar consumption.

Based on the latest model guidance, all of DFW should switch over to heavy snow as we move into the evening hours.

Thanks. Haven't had a whole lot of time to look at things. Congrats to all who have gotten heavy snow. Hopefully I will later.

The column luckily looks pretty cool, so if temps drop through the evening I might get something. Might be why NWS put wintry mix in my forecast.

Snow in Texas, 8th wonder of the World

Don't use my posts as forecast; I'm not a licensed meteorologist! I just endorse cold weather, alright?

All observations I note are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

How sure are we about this back end snow? I’m trying to set my expectations.

I'm hoping the next storm is much easier to predict. This one has been back and forth before and during. A wild ride for winter lovers. I need a drink.

Earlier had light snow & sleet in Rowlett/ Garland, but now it's just rain & wind actually, which concerns me regarding trees.

Radar is filling in, and intensity appears to be picking up across DFW.
