Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 what dew point means, especially when it comes to snow? I have a little knowledge from what I have picked up here but I don’t know exactly. Even a link would be great.

Yeah those reports make me laugh sometimes because anyone can make a report that has access to the radar app. For example, you've got a few drizzle reports, a few freezing drizzle reports with temps above freezing (lol), but also a few sleet and a snow report all being reported within a 5-10 miles radius in north Houston within the last 5 minutes. Pick one? Lol

Need to go back to the old skywarn system where only certified/trained skywarn folks get to report. Use to be if you put out a false report you lost your certification/ability to report.

mPING is a good way to keep track of some of these reports.

I was just driving around Round Rock and Cedar Park. Temps back below freezing. It does have that moist feel outside in the air but nothing falling yet. At least here.

Am about 50 minutes north of you and getting some light snow/graupel. Barely visible unless you’re standing out there with hawk eyes lol
