Re: Texas Spring 2025
Encouraging signs that we may see some rain overnight down across SC TX including SA metro.
HRRR has been all over the place today but it seems to have caught up to real time conditions and brings the storms currently in the Hill Country down into the area by 3AM. Also shows some afternoon development again tomorrow which would be nice.

I'm afraid it's going to pass north of town but hope I'm wrong. The Hill Country over to Austin looks to be in a good spot right now. DFW too.

Re: Texas Spring 2025
That is a nasty looking like of storms west of SA and Austin. Is that going to hold together and pass through the I-35 corridor?

Trends looking good so far. Movement has been more SE than due east. All about whether it survives the trip now.

.55" IMBY and counting. Had a little hail too. This was more rain then over the Easter weekend for me.

Re: Texas Spring 2025
Getting some decent wind, but the storms themselves did a 7/10 split...

Pretty unbelievable but my area got dry slotted this morning. Line didn’t fully come together until after it passed my area.

Re: Texas Spring 2025
No idea if the showers make it all the way to Houston, though the cirrus ahead of them dropped enough rain drops I occasionally made me turn on the wipers. Not enough rain for the slowest intermittent setting, but enough every minute or so I turned the wipers on and off.

Yep, good call! Looks like the outflow boundary pushed far enough south to allow the storms to build even south of SA. Another surprise beneficial rain event across much of south central Texas...you love to see it!

Re: Texas Spring 2025
Arlington got soaked. I had already put the trash and recycle bins out last night, and I had to go find them this morning because all the storm runoff pushed them down the hill to the end of my block. And of course they were full of water and weighed about two tons apiece.
