Went with 5 and am thinking 1-2 will be a MH, one of which will make landfall.

Going with 5- 2 majors,1 non major, 2 tropical storms (with one possibly being subtropical during at least some point in its life).

Given what we're seeing with Erin today and the fact it's 2025... going with 6+ for SEP :double:

I went with 2 and probably during the last 2 weeks of the month. I think it's going to be a below normal activity season.

5, with perhaps a big one in the second half of the month.

Especially what happened with Erin, I have my doubts that this season is going to struggle as others might think, considering the very warm deep tropics, the warm Canary Current, the cool subtropics thanks to Erin's recurvature, the projected return to a favorable VP pattern by the second half of the month, and the tendency for recent seasons to exhibit backloaded activity.

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.
