Been a couple of tornado warnings this morning in NE Texas in SHV NWS CWA. All radar indicated, no indication any touched down but at a minimum, storms are showing rotation

The damage I saw from the tornado near Lake Village easily supports EF4 and wouldn’t be surprised if that was an EF5. Homes completely wiped from foundations and torn into tiny shreds. About the worst storm damage I’ve ever seen.

Forecast helicity from RAP is pretty tame but the instability and deep shear are there. 80% of a tornado watch. RAP forecast sounding.

Ryan Hall had several chasers. Went from zero to a wedge in a couple of minutes and the RFD was blowing very large hail, probably 3 inches, into the chasers.
