Not as hot this week, still well above average but cooler shots of air by the weekend.

A lot of the troubles going on for years now is the boom or bust precip events, little inbetween, but April may offer change.

It's weird. For much of my life October, November, March, and April were the best months living in DFW comfort wise. I love cold and snow and despise anything above 80, although 80 isn't terrible with no humidity. None of the "in between months" matter much lately. It's hot or much above average anytime, any year. Hope April and May come through before summer hell hits.

Same boat. The fringe and 'extended' months have been hurting the most since 2015. Feb/March are consistently seeing top 10 warmest and so is October/November and December also have seen the out of whack seasons. You have January as the month that has consistently been near normal, or below normal in a few cases since 2020.

What I would love to see is rolling storms, rain come through in the morning and nice sunny afternoons! Miss those days. It seems we need major systems all the time to get anything meaningful, when we would used to get small shortwaves and fronts that produced.

These 7 day precipitation anomalies look great to finish March going into April. Very encouraging signals ahead as previously mentioned.

The Weather Channel has a high week straight of rain chances starting next Tuesday

It's almost time for our annual flip from famine to flood :spam:

Now these are warm days I can tolerate. Low humidity, some 80s and coolish mornings even if above average.

As we root on the increased precipitation potential, the severe weather signal continues as well for the first week of April.

Looking at a full week of 60's and maybe even some 50's by Friday into the weekend to start the day here so not really few and far between just yet. Love to see that actually.

I'm not getting my hopes up just yet. These rainy periods so far that have been forecasted have generally underperformed so I'll believe it when I see a lot of rain falling...
