Now, Helen. Let's not get carried overboard. We wouldn't want the lefties to get up in arms about your hate mongering, now, would we? :D

The point that some people want to ignore is who was the president when 9/11 actually happened. They attacked under his watch no matter what happened before.

i am just saying what he said today. why do people call facts hate mongering. oh, and kerry hasnt changed his views at all, this is what he said in 1971.

But almost 34 years later, Kerry's remarks on American military and intelligence operations vastly diverge from opinions expressed by the present-day Sen. John F. Kerry, D.-Mass., the leading candidate in the Democratic primary for president.

"I'm an internationalist,Kerry told The Crimson in 1970. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.

Kerry said he wanted to almost eliminate CIA activity. The CIA is fighting its own war in Laos and nobody seems to care."

he hasnt changed at all. i will stand by my statement. the terrorists are salivating for a kerry presidency.

the attack took years to plan. the planning took place under clinton, who refused to fight terroism. also, the dems, starting in the 70's, tore up the cia, and it peaked under clinton. now we have kerry, who will be the next president, vowing to go back to the un. in kerry's own words, he hates the cia, and he wants to put us under un control

So, you're saying that Kerry said he would go to the UN and surrender to France and Germany? Surrender what? Either you make no sense or he makes no sense. And if HE said it, how about a link to the quote?

As Duck said - where's a link? What's this surrendering crap? Was it a statement from him or a description of how you feel about the situation?

thanks for calling me a hate mongerer. i happen to feel our national security is very important. oh well. with the press 100% on kerry's side, it doesnt matter. now bush is on the defensive again, releasing dental records and his driving records. here we have a president who WAS fighting a war to keep us safe, and all the press can see is how they can tear bush down. rush is po'ed today with the spinelss republicans in the senate, and bush not being aggressive. sorry for my passionate defense of our national security.

She didn't call you a hate mongering. She said you were hate mongering. Therefore, it wasn't a direct attack.

It's not your passionate defense of our national security I'm wondering about. My wonder stems from the topic heading. Political mud-slinging is bad enough without some total bunk being posted here. Heck, even Snopes doesn't have anything about Kerry wanting to surrender to France and Germany. Where'd you come up with such blarney? Give the man some credit -- he's not THAT stupid, is he??

And if he is, please...give me a link!

From one "hate-mongerer" to another thanks. Understand that to a Liberal, Conservative = hate-mongerer.

Personally, I think that both sides are hate mongers - of each other. This board is FILLED with examples.

I don't think the board is filled with examples of hate mongerers. Most of us have strong beliefs and opinions, but I think we get along fairly well. I don't see people stirring up the dirt just to get the other side going. Am I blind to it?

I put those there so the facts or allegations could be judged. If that is hatemongering, I will stop. I didn't intentionally try to stir up trouble with Kerry supporters

kerrys speech was on the radio. i have no link. he said weeks after the election he will go back to the un and rejoin the family of nations. great with me.
actually, i admire kerry and the dems. granted they have the press on their side. but they attack and attack and attack till they win. the economy is going great, but do you hear about it in the mainstream press? and you wont. where is bush? the white house is in panic mode, and has no clue what to do.

I apologize - I'm referring to some of the responses, not your threads personally. We DO NEED to have all sides represented -all views posted to be better informed. I may not agree with what is posted but I respect the opinion. However, back to Helen I'd like to see links for the "surrender to France" statement.

Your threads and posts are always very interesting to read Anthony.

Where was the speech made because a search could be made on the web to get some kind of report. That's all we were really asking for Helen. Thanks.
