The latest recorded freeze at New Orleans International Airport. We made through this winter without an official freeze at the airport--lowest was 33F there, although every other reporting station in New Orleans (except the Lakefront) did record freezing temperatures. Next week looks to be unusually cool in New Orleans with forecasted highs on Monday only around the upper 50's and frost in the Northern suburbs of the city---winters last gasp is rather late this year.....

We managed a few "official" freezes here this year, but nothing of significance. It is indeed a late last gasp for Winter here in Houston too! We are expecting highs in the low 60's and low's in the low 40's with rain for Easter Sunday and Monday. UUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!

Here in C FLA roughly on a line SE of TPA to DAB, we made it thru the winter without a freeze also(rare) and hardly any winter plant kill...had many nights in the mid30s-mid 40s and several cool 60 deg days but overall not bad. Don't know what all the fuss was about up NORTH... tee hee hee!
