Gas prices AGAIN. Up up and away they go!

#1 Postby Guest » Thu May 06, 2004 3:59 pm

Well it looks like there is no end to the rise in gas prices. Its absurd if you ask me and its bs. Sorry but we REALLY need to start applying pressure on everyone thats at fault for such outragious gas prices which now for regular unleaded here you cant find cheaper then 1.93. :grr: :grr: :grr:

So how much are you paying now?

Well I went past a gas station on the way to pick up my prom tux and it was 1.82! Worse, 1.92 for premium (I feel sorry for those who have to use it)!

What a shame no one is doing anything about this problem! Super Unleaded here is now at $1.99. I run that grade in all my vehicles. But, I bought regular this morning which is at $1.79.

Ahh the super stuff here is at 2.13! Imagine that! :grr:

On a side note i have never ever seen anything above 1.90 let alone now 2.00 for the good stuff. Atleast not where i have ever lived.

I found a gas station today.. that now has

1.89 for regular
1.99 for medium
and 2.20 for premium!

No one else here in Florida {that I know of} is anywhere near 2.20 for Premium. RIP OFF ALERT

I paid 1.89 per gallon yesterday. I got two 14 gallon tanks in my truck so you can IMAGINE what it costs me to fill her up.

It's disgusting! $1.85 for mid grade.

This IS NOT going to any good for the summer vacation season. There's alot of areas that depend on this time of the year to earn a living. Whatever gains the economy has realized can be lost quickly.

Very good point Stephanie. Like you i am from (returning btw in a week) a resort area that depends on this sort of thing and with gas prices like this alot of people and businesses may be hurting very badly after this summer.

This will put a huge strain on the economy.
