The posse!!!

#1 Postby Cyclone » Tue Jun 01, 2004 10:27 am

Thought I'd stop in and say hello. Sorry it's been such a long time, the past 6 months have been a bit strange for me.

Well, I'm not going back to England.... Yet! So.. I think I'll be here at least until the end of the year, and then who knows! But anyway, I hope you guys are well, and are safe what with all the tornadoes and flooding going on!

Bit of a scary story for you... remember the other night, all the storms that came through Tennessee and Ky?? Well that night I went to see that movie... "The Day after Tomorrow" and as soon as I came out of it, the tornado sirens were going off in the area!!! Talk about " being in the movie"!!

Hope you all are well :)
See ya!

Hey Cy - welcome back!!! That is eeary about the sirens and then actually seeing the movie right before that. Yikes!! Talk about fiction becoming reality! We're off to see that movie today if we can work it out. I'm a sucker for disaster movies. I already know going into it, it's not to be believed. Still, I want to see it!!!

Stick around, Chad has a good thread going, called about 3 facts about yourself. 2 are true and 1 is a lie. Everyone has to guess which one is a lie! It's up to 8 pages now, I still havne't found time to jump into that topic but I want to. Looks like a lot of fun. Here's the link...

Nice to see a new topic by you too!

GRAAAMMMMMMY!!!!! Hiya! Soooooooo GLAD ( and relieved) to know you are ok! Those were some humdingers that came by you the other night, I know, cause I was up to my folks' house (from 12 to about 3 am) tracking them ( in a chicken suit no less * giggles ) Thought about you and prayed for your safety as I often do * grins * Some around here got a little too close for comfort('course I wouldn't know too much, I was hiding behind the sofa-lol) We came out ok tho, just straight line winds..not alot of damage, more trouble with all the water... The river crested here today just a half foot from flood stage (eeeek!) *remembers the first time I said eeek to Graham * giggles *)

Sooooooooooo wonderful to see you, Drop by when you can and I'm glad you aren't going anywhere just yet, I would mith ya sumfin awful * hugs *

Take care of yourself and I will talk with ya soon! Be safe and be well my friend

So good to hear from you, Graham! I'd wondered
where you'd gotten off, too, these days!

Those were some nasty storms, on Sunday
night, true! But, ohhhh, Monday ended up being
gorgeous, after all!

Stick around, and, give a yell, when you can!

Hey guys... you know, I've never known such a wonderful, caring bunch of people as yourselves. You guys are great...thank you so much for that.

Sky..Eric mate, good to see you again! T (hehe ;) ), Mary, Steve, Marshall. It's so funny, once you mention one name, you have to mention all of them. ..everyone!

Anyway, good to see you all again. Mary, I will pop in on Chad's thread, that's a good one.

Steve, I haven't forgotten about your friend over there, I will definitely email him.

Thanks mates! :)

Graham - I was hoping someone would mention your "just saying hi" topic(s)!!! Somehow I thought that might be Tracy also. We sure had fun with the JSH topics. Pages and pages of replies! However I think TWC Admin didn't take to the JSH threads kindly.....LOL They took up so much space and our good will always turned off a trouble maker. Remember the poster who would blast the topic with hundreds of icons? So it would slow down? Who was that masked man? Can't remember now.....

omigosh...I remember that...

#16 Postby TLC » Sat Jun 05, 2004 12:52 pm

I remember that! Goofy jealous twerps! Man , that made me soooo mad! I don't remember the name now, it escapes me ( but then again, I can't even remember most days what I had for lunch-lol) Every time we got it going, someone would sabotage it * growls softly* TWC admins did have a problem with it a little, but we weren't gunna let it stop us lol Sunny finally got over it ( we all mentioned weather lol) and when John took over he knew it was one of the favourites so he let us have free reign :) ( well that and he knew I would have defended it till the he** froze over * giggles*) I guess you could call me an over protective Mother Hen * grins * Was just something I was kinda passionate about... that said "JSH" might be gone, but never forgotten !

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Miss Mary * hug*

I had an email from Jan a few years ago. She was going thru a sad divorce at the time. Her email was hard to read, I felt so bad for her. Remember her son Justin? He sure was a nice kid! Didn't Jan's nic have 130 behind it? Something like that.....who else are we missing from those fun days?
