In denial?

#1 Postby Stormcenter » Sun Jun 13, 2004 12:51 pm

Are those who think something is not developing in the GOM in denial?

I wouldn't say denial. I'm still not overall impressed with the system. Yes it looks a little better, I'll give you that. We'll see what recon has to say.

Yeah the stuff in the eastern gulf looks a mess, but the spin in the western gulf looks very well organized.

And again, let's look at the DRY AIR and the shearing coming in from the WEST ... just wondering, did the naming of Grace last year really lower our standards of naming storms?

Keep up the good work Stormsfury. I hope your wrong, but I do believe that you are right. To much dry air. Weak TD at best if even that. I hope to be eating my words later.

I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone by making that statement but hey it's just my opinion. Isn't that what this board for anyway?

Yes, this board is about opinion, but it is the manner in which you are presenting your opinion. BIG difference.

I don't mind that you have your opinions and you are dead set on those ... I just don't like seeing the same opinion started on 5 different threads ... that's all my gripe is about.

Back on topic, storms continue to fire on the right hand side of our suspect new LLC. Not that impressive given the intense convection to the east and south though. Don't think this will be upgraded by what the hunters find because this thing is still in beginning stages. Kinda routing for the system though, gotta love the weak disorganized gulf tropical storms 8-) .

Except :grr: Allison :grr:
