A little nervous here....

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Thu Aug 12, 2004 11:18 am

I just wanted to let you guys know what you already knew.. I'm a little nervous..

If Charley keeps strengthening.. What a way for me to experience my 2nd storm..

Even though I live inland and may not see Charlie's eye.. He's going to make ERIN LOOK LIKE A PANSY...

I went through the direct hit with Erin in 1995.. and she was bad.. her damage to my area was light.. but she was bad..

This could be 2x as strong as Erin was.. and since I'll be on the East side.. I am thinking I'll get some of those triple digit winds here..

Breathe John... just remember to breathe. The tone of your posts is getting a bit panicked. This is nothing to panic over- just board up as necessary, head out of town if an exacuation is called for and remember that panic isn't going to help- it's just going to freak yourself and maybe others out.

It might not be pretty- but try not to get too upset. :)
