Hey, I like Jim Cantore!!! And I'm not alone. He's by far a very well respected OCM. Just what did he jinx, since I've been hearing about the Cantore curse for a while? Just curious. He seems the most prepared for on-air updates, gives you concise reports and on the spot, answers questions from the station that are not scripted. That to me is a seasoned, educated Met. Jinx? Bunch of baloney I say. But that's just the amatuer coming out in me HD. Please tell me again just what specific incident/storm he jinxed?

Thanks.

Jim Cantore gets to chase large storm systems all over, is no doubt well paid for doing it, and does it before a live national TV audience. And he's become something of a weather celebrity in the process. His name is lit up on local business marquees where storms are on the way.

He handles dramatic scenes of furious weather with cool professionalism. If nothing's happening, he'll say so. Unlike this morning's local weathercaster in Apalachicola, futilely hyping non-storm Bonnie's light winds and tiny waves that were plainly apparent behind him.

I gotta tip my cap to Mr. C....we should all do so well.
