After being with no electricity for nearly 48 hours here in Central Florida, I am now back in the watts again!

Glad to hear it. I was without power for 8 hours yesterday. Not sure when they'll get power back in Port Charlotte.

I remember after Isabel the most asked question was..GOT POWER!?
4 days to get it back on and I will never forget that La. crew who did it!!

My Mother was without power for 10 days.

Been in the dark too

Glad to hear the good news for you CocoaBill. I know what you went through - after Hurricane Lili I was without electricity for two and a half weeks, also no hot water to shower with. Really uncomfortable. I remember a crew from Kentucky who got my electricity back - they were a lifesaver. Enjoy the airconditioning!!!!

Hmm... Power outages as far east as Cocoa Beach. My brother and sister-in-law live in Melbourne and they didn't lose power.
