It is still coming down... my basement (my room) is now flooding. We are down in the room taking turns with the shop-vac. Roads in town are closed... and the pool is overflowing. Fun!

Thank goodness the rainfall is slowing down! Hopefully the light rain will end very soon and you can start to dry out.

Yeah, I need to run over to my mom's (who is out of town) to check and see if there is any water where it shouldn't be there, too.

Thanks Annette. I Just called a neighbor about 15 minutes ago who lives next to mom and she said that the road has been washed out. Mom lives over on the NE side of town and they had put down gravel and were going to pave it starting this upcoming week. Alivia (the neighbor) said they were only letting residents in. :(

Yeah... the front is about to move through. Once that moves through then we should completely start to dry out.

Kristi,

Things are calming down around here. Almost all of the streets are back open. I heard while ago that the downtown flooded. I know there was some water damage to a few businesses.

Mom's house is fine, but I can't get to it becuase the city is still working on the street. Alivia checked it out for me.
