Is Jeanne trying to see?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

You're clearly a professional speller. It's Purdue, not perdue. Other than calling yourself a prof met, I don't see any verification of this by the mods. I'm a grad student in atmospheric science w/ a Bachelor's also in meteorology so I don't want to hear it.

This is Fungus.... who was suspended for this type of post. Now we'll make it an outright ban.

Complete data...hmm...looking at a long range radar image where the scan is at least several thousand feet above the surface. That's not exactly what I call complete data. On the loops it's impossible to tell whether that is an eye, eyewall or just a blob of convection.

I was responding to the original poster - he/she says that he/she sees a dot in the middle. So, I zoomed in on a high-res image and confirmed that it was a shadow caused by the sun setting over the tallest cloud tops.

We already have confirmation of a partial eyewall from recon earlier this afternoon.

He'll be back and we'll get him again. :-) Don't worry about trolls like this. They go away sooner or later :-)
