Time Change - adjust your profile

#1 Postby CajunMama » Sun Apr 06, 2003 4:21 pm

Anyone else notice everyones current post time is different from your computer clock? A current post was an hour behind. I had to adjust my time under my profile. I'm in CDT so I changed it from GMT -6 hours to GMT - 5 hours.

CajunMama - Good catch! I made our post into an announcement so everyone will see it. Just to make it easy below are the correct settings for your profile:

Eastern GMT -4 hours
Central GMT -5 hours
Mountain GMT -6 hours
Pacific GMT -7 hours

The board post times are based on the difference between your local time and GMT. Since phpBB doesn't require a location in your profile it allows each memeber to set their own time in reference to GMT. Since GMT doesn't have for Daylight Saving Time we hae to adjust each of our time differences twice a year. :-)
