Feeling Blew
Guess my name says it all. By the way, can't we post the wind speeds etc., in mph instead of knots, it'd be easier for me to relate to in my fragile condition. I'm a CONSTANT lurker living half way between 27.04N, 80.04W and 27.08 N,80.11 W (Hobe Sound / Port Salerno), our lakes are already full after Ivan II's pass earlier this week and we certainly don't need any more water, not to mention 100+ mph or 100+ Knot winds. Thanks

I feel your pain td. After 11 days with no power my life was just returning to normal. I can deal with the storm...it's the aftermath that I don't want to deal with again. We just moved into our first house 1 week before Frances hit. Luckily damage was not severe. We were married in march. It's like a bad omen or something.

We were lucky with Frances. No significant damage, but if we hadn't gone out a few times during the storm and cleaned out the street storm drains, I think we'd have been flooded. Lots of damage in the neighborhood though (none catastrophic). Our development is called "Lost Lake", but I don't think there's a lake in here that hasn't been found now.

Congrats to ya Tracy - me and my fiance are getting married in Jan
You guys will pull through! The way I see these kinds of things is that it's a good opportunity to really work together and then it makes it easier for other times that used to seem hard by comparison.
The best of luck and good fortune to you and your husband.
