Shannon, try the P.T. first...and, ask your doc
about E-Stim - electric stimulation pads placed
on the neck, back, wherever the pain - I use it
on my neck - cervical area, and, it's a wonderful
massage! Your's will be the lumbar and sacral
areas. It's definitely worth a try! You get to take
the small machine home and adjust the settings
to fit your needs - most insurances will pay for
it, and, most will adjust the fees if insurance
doesn't pay all.

Stooge, chicken soup makes all things better,
my friend! ;) Really - it helps!

Jeremy, you take care of you - and, DO let us
know what's going on, if you can, ok?

We got the big Oktoberfest festivities here,
this weekend. Massive yard sales, food booths from
here straight west into Lewis County - homemade
crafts, homecooked food - Lordie, what a mass of
vehicles to fight, this weekend! 30 miles of non-stop
"stop here and buy something"! Me and Mama are
going to fight it - $$$ in hand!

Man, that sounds like worlds of fun Annette! I'll be working this weekend- as usual! However, now that I've been with WalMart a year and I got my raise and vacation time, it doesn't seem quite as bad!

*yawn*

Man, I know I slept at least 9 hours, and I'm still sitting here yawning! I need some caffeine!!

Well, gotta get ready for work (I'd rather go shopping! hehe), take care everyone!

My goodness, John, was that really
Jacki-Lynne??? :double:

Good to see you, gal! Yea, the crowds are out
in full-force, today. We'll have to leave an hour
or so early just to make the normally 20-minute
drive over to Hohenwald. Who knows - maybe the
cheapskate here will actually BUY something... :ggreen:

Everyone have a great Saturday!

What makes them different (more boring) than Saturday Afternoon and Evenings?

The only good thing about Sunday is the morning and the political talk shows, even though that will be boring once the election is over.

Sunday means that I can drink more coffee and
play on the internet. Saturday means there's
more wretched house chores to do! That's
the difference for me.

LOL, Jeremy, that's my usual Sunday, after lunch!

John, I hope you get that job! It's a great sacrifice
for football, though, but, some times 'ya gotta do
what 'ya gotta do!

Ya'll remember the part-time job I have at the hospital
on one weekend day a month (plus my 40-hr a week plus
job at the doc's office)? This Saturday, October 16th, is my
LAST day....turned in my bye-bye notice, I did!
Weekends are going to take a whole new meaning for me,
now. I got a raise at the office, so, I can finally take
a deep breath and yell "TGIF!", every Friday, and have it
MEAN something to me! I've been nursing for 20 years -
things are finally falling into place!

Good Morning!

And a fine one it is at that! 57° and raining here. Need the rain but geez...BTW I'm being sarcastic about a fine morning...

Breeze, LOL yeah I kinda figured that was your Sunday...mine consists of church then football myself and that won't change.

As for me. Well I'm in school next 2 days...then OFF for 4 days! Much needed long weekend! Although Tuesday I'll be doing the TV thing. Then, rest? Pffftttt...yeah right, up at 4am Wednesday, Thursday, AND Friday! Mom's got home interiors parties Thurs/Friday nights BOTH, so it's gonna be easier on my schedule (and my body) if I just get up at the same time all three mornings!

Well that's it for me, I'm in DIRE need of another can of Dew, so until later, have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Well, another cool morning with a low of 58*F outside. Thursday night, it'll get a lot cooler with a low of 47*F.

Yesterday, my mom's room mate said it was so cold that he wore 2 jackets, of course...no matter how cool or hot it is outside, even if the temperature is 80, he's still gets bundled up.

We finally got some rain here the other day ... with a nice thunderstorm to accompany it too. :) It was a cool surprise.

Went and did some job hunting yesterday, but I only found one place that is hiring at the moment. :( Of course I put in an application there.

GOOD MORNING!

Indeed it IS a GOOD MORNING! I'm caught up on my school for but a brief moment (15 minutes "LOL!") Thought I'd stop by for a second, stand by the stove this chilly a.m. Sitting at 32° at 0500, temp could drop to the upper 20's before sun up!

Check out the USA weather forum, I made a post there, our FIRST SNOW of the season is on it's way :sled: If things hold together like everyone's thinking it will, this could be a BARN burner of a winter (finally)!

Annette, you forgot the MOST important factor of OctoberFest, "BEER!" :A: after all, isn't BEER what Octoberfest is ALL about? "LOL!"

Congrats on the job John, haven't had time nor will I have time to read your thread, this is a quick post, I just scanned the threads and saw it!

That's it for a few days, I'm jumping ahead in class (Criminal Justice)....now that I've developed a study pattern etc, it's becoming a little easier, a LITTLE mind you lol!

Jeremy brother, I wasn't ignoring you on your question a few weeks back, the one about the books, I haven't had time to post......I'll find some time today to answer it!

Gotta run!
