Thanks for a great season for friends and hurricanes. . . .

Thanks for a great season for friends and hurricanes. . . .

#1 Postby Mattie » Mon Oct 25, 2004 9:57 pm

I have enjoyed another season of Storm2K.org (even with all the down time) and want to say thanks to the administrators/moderators/techies that have worked so hard this season to keep us coming back for more. I know the love of the "job" has to be the top priority and motivation, but I have to say - I wouldn't trade this place for a million dollars!!! (oh, ok . . . a million MIGHT change my opnion <grin>). . .

But in all seriousness, this board is the best!!! See you all next year and hope to see you somewhere else along the way. Take care, God Bless us all . . .

Thank you Mattie and everyone for being a member of our "storm team". Stick around all year long, because S2K has lots to offer throughout each season. :D

WE do appreciate the kudos to say the least.

Stick around for the winter season forums and the other forums. We have some of the best in the business for winter weather too. You might as well keep up with the weather ALL YEAR LONG right here at STORM2K!!

I'll be lurking, no worries there. . . just not as close. Winter in Texas can be interesting at times, so I'll be watching the predictions for winter weather in the south. I sort of have my fingers crossed for some serious cold, icy weather days, but would like to put in my order to skip the December holiday period so I can drive home to Baton Rouge. Had that trip cancelled a couple of times and had to miss Santa in his pirogue and the bonfires on the levy :-(.

There's always the U.S. Weather Watch forum for non-winter weather discussions.

I will be posting in the US Weather Watch forum in the very near future!
This is where I will be posting updates on a lot of things, especially the weather.
Don't forget, when the hurricane season is over, I resume posting my weekly weather discussions at USWeatherWatchers.Com and that forum!
Enjoy Mattie, but do stick around!!
