2am for all time zones.

Yeah... I like Standard time better. Early sunsets get me in the holiday mood. :P

I remember the old days of working third shift. That extra hour BITES when you have to work through it. And it's even crazier when one minute, you've charted on a patient at 1:55 AM, and then the next thing you know, it's 1:00 AM again and your documentation looks funny because it looks like it's out of order, but it's not. :)

Where my dad works has a 12-hour shift from 7pm-7am. He's off, but someone will be working Saturday Night and will have an extra hour.

On the positive side... in April, they have one less hour.

As usual, we keep our clocks the same, but have to remember it will now be one hour different than the Midwest, two from the east coast, and one, the other way, from California.

I've discovered the atomic clocks I have just don't know what to do with Arizona when the time change is in effect. For several days they try to change overnight...then eventually settle in where they belong.

Tell me about it!

I'm working the overnight shift this month, but I ended up taking that day off for a football game. While everyone else is enjoying the extra hour of sleep, we're hating the extra hour of work. (...and being in the military, we don't get paid by the hour so we don't benefit) Then again, if we're working the night shift in April.... :D :D :D

Don't forget to reset your forum clocks as well! Here's a handy chart for time zones in relation to GMT:

Yeah, I hated having to work through the extra hour last year! And in the spring when we set the clocks foward an hour I got shafted again because my shift started at 3am, so I had to be there basically an hour earlier, and I didnt have one less hour of work!
