I got mine early this year. Mr. Annoying Man in my office went on a cruise to Mexico in early October and brought back a horrific bug. He's one of those people who refuse to stay home when they're contagious. Furthermore, he is a total pig who I doubt washes his hands more than once or twice a day. He pops into my cube, stands behind my chair invading my personal space and proceeds to sneeze snot droplets all over my head. I missed a week and a half of work to walking pneumonia, and since I was out of sick/vacation time, I got to take unpaid absence for all that time. Gosh, what do you think I had to say to the SOB?!

Jen,

Just pure selfishness on his part for exposing you all there at the workplace!! :grr: I never have understood what makes peeps tick either when they are terribly sick like that...yet take some kind of "pleasure" giving their "gift" to others.

Dont candy coat it, Jen. Tell us how you REALLY feel...

:P

There are a couple of folks here that have something. They're walking around coughing without covering their mouths and sneezing everywhere. Touching everything with their viral-ridden hands. Oh boy, just what I want for the holidays! An assortment of germs!

Ick.

It's like the media telling folks to never drive down a flooded roadway for ie.

Now the BEST way to avoid giving your bug to others is to STAY HOME!!

Goes in one ear...and ~ZIP~...right out the other!

Funny, my boss says the same thing.
Our annual review forms have a box to evaluate for "Directness", but it's not applicable for my lowly status. My boss decided to use it anyway and stated, "Refreshingly direct." Talk about candy coating!

Refreshingly direct? I think that's a good thing, so do you probably. But did he? I too am in that category but people always know where they stand and I've NEVER been accused of backstabbing.
