Amber Alert Issued for Four Year Old Florida Boy
Posted: Monday December 20 2:21 PM CT


The Williston Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the Amber Alert after the boy was apparently abducted from a local restaurant.


Unknown Name, 4 yrs., white male.


Police are looking for white male in his forties with long salt and pepper hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a white pullover sweater.


The suspect vehicle is a 2005 white 4-door Ford Focus with Florida tag U48KNF.


They were last seen at a local restaurant on Route 41 and Alternate 27 in Williston. Williston is about 25 miles south west of Gainville.


Anyone with information is asked to call the Williston Police Department at 352-528-4991 or dial 911.

guess they thought the father took the boy w/o permission maybe they are seperated. After everyone calmed down they realized he was afe.

Amber Alert Canceled for Four Year Old Florida Boy
Posted: Monday December 20 2:21 PM CT
Updated: Monday December 20 4:30 PM CT

The Williston Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled the Amber Alert after it was determined that the boy was taken by his father to visit relatives. Witnesses to the incident reported a violent confrontation between the man and his wife which precipitated the Amber Alert.
