I wouldn't expect much rain until May - but even then, we'll see if it's one of those infamous "dry Mays!"

It always seems like we get one fairly strong pre-frontal trough squall line coming through in March or April....see if that happens.

Could happen. It would take a lot to rival 1998, but who knows?

I know that I wouldn't bet on big rains until June. It's dry now, but that's how it's supposed to be.

This winter has seemed rather mild down here, but what do you expect when you keep adding acres of concrete. I went out running the other night at around midnight - there's this old dilapidated mango tree grove near where I am, and I was struck by how much cooler the air seemed near it.

The extreme proliferation of housing developments and parking lots is what is killing our winters down here.

Yeah, its amazing the temperature difference from up here compared to going south 15 minutes. We are I guess i can call "the edge" of the West Palm Ft Lauderdale Miami megalopolis, so its alot less developed here. We are usually 5-10 degrees colder than other areas to the south. I don't like that map either. It kind of looks like its saying "Hey hurricane, come down here we need it".

When I was looking at our forecast this morning..they stated next 7 days of dry weather.

I peeked at the Area Forecast Discussion for MLB and here's an excerpt-

THIS IS BEYOND THE 7 DAY FORECAST PERIOD BUT SOMETHING TO WATCH WITH
