I recieved about 5 minutes worth of hail in the 1/4" to 3/4" range at my house near Gessner and I-10. Local reports are that it was even worse about 2.5 miles to my south. Now that the rain has stopped and the sun is trying to come out I will go out and check for damage. If the pictures I took are good enough I will upload them later.
Wow! Just clicked over to another station and we have had winds to 80mph reported to my NE(near my son's school)at I-45 and Sam Houston Tollway, as well as rain rates up to 5"/hr.(which I think we experienced here for a short while).

MESOSCALE DISCUSSION 0561
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
1247 PM CDT THU APR 24 2003
AREAS AFFECTED...AR
CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL
VALID 241747Z - 242045Z
SEVERE THREAT IS INCREASING...WITH ISOLATED STRONG TORNADOES
POSSIBLE BY LATE AFTERNOON.
NORTHWEST-SOUTHEAST ORIENTED SURFACE WARM FRONT HAS DEVELOPED/
SHIFTED RAPIDLY NORTHEASTWARD OVER THE PAST FEW HOURS...AND NOW
EXTENDS NEAR/NORTH OF FAYETTEVILLE/LITTLE ROCK INTO THE GREENVILLE
MS AREA. DEW POINTS HAVE CLIMBED THROUGH THE UPPER 60S WITH
TEMPERATURES APPROACHING 80F SOUTH OF FRONT. BAND OF MID-LEVEL
SUBSIDENCE HAS NOSED NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS...CAPPING
POTENTIALLY UNSTABLE LOW-LEVEL MOIST LAYER. BUT...WITH FURTHER
SURFACE HEATING/MIXING IN LOW-LEVELS CAP WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
AS ANOTHER STRONG POLAR JET STREAK PROPAGATES INTO THE RED RIVER
VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON...STRONGER MID-LEVEL FLOW IS PROGGED TO
REDEVELOP SOUTH OF CENTRAL PLAINS CYCLONE...WITH EXIT REGION OF
WESTERLY JET NOSING INTO WESTERN/CENTRAL ARKANSAS IN THE 21-00Z TIME
FRAME. ALTHOUGH SOME WEAKENING OF LOW-LEVEL WIND FIELDS IS
OCCURRING...AT LEAST MODERATE SOUTHERLY LOW-LEVEL FLOW WILL
PERSIST...CONTRIBUTING TO FAVORABLE VERTICAL SHEAR FOR SUPERCELLS IN
ENVIRONMENT WITH MEAN MIXED LAYER CAPE IN EXCESS OF 2000 J/KG.
WITH STRENGTHENING MID/UPPER FORCING FOR UPWARD VERTICAL MOTION...
CAP IS EXPECTED TO WEAKEN SUFFICIENTLY FOR AT LEAST SCATTERED
INTENSE CONVECTIVE DEVELOPMENT. VERY LARGE HAIL APPEARS LIKELY IN
MOST INTENSE SUPERCELLS. THREAT FOR TORNADOES...INCLUDING ISOLATED
STRONG TORNADOES...IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON...PARTICULARLY ALONG/EAST OF PRE-FRONTAL WIND SHIFT
PROGGED THROUGH THE TEXARKANA/LITTLE ROCK/JONESBORO AREAS BY 25/00Z

Garrett, sorry to interrupt the line of severe weather warnings... but I would like to do this too, but there are so many warnings being issued it can be hard to keep up and you do get away from the computer and by the time you're (one) is back the warnings have expired... and then there are some overnight warnings at times, too.
