Let us Reflect!

#1 Postby drezee » Sun Jul 03, 2005 8:06 pm

Soapbox moment:

I like to track hurricanes as much as the next person, but to have the development that we are having in July is pretty uncanny. Most if not all of us have family along the coast, so before this season gets too active let's remember that people will be in the path of these storms ( our friends, family, and even ourselves). Let's be excited to track them and get valuable information out, but let us also be sensitive in the preparation and the aftermath.

Thanks

Good post and I totally agree. My Mom lives in Michigan and she has already called me because she is worried. (Even though I live on the east coast of FL). But you know Mom's. :D

Maybe this should become part of Storm2's Mission Statement.
