thats at 40m above the surface. Winds at the surface are about 15% less than that

It is now inland. But we will see what the nhc thinks later this year. I agree I also think it was.

Yeah... some people have mentioned that rig observation on the N.O. weather forum. Like you said earlier today, Derek, a New Orleans high rise is not the place to be tonight.

Pressure is up and if it was a hurricane it has since weakened. NHC discussion has more...

By the way it looks like she's "currently" moving due north and not NNE so N.O. may get heavier weather than anticipated earlier.

I haven't seen any data that would suggest this was a hurricane. Cindy was a tropical storm.
