Local Met observation
I just thought I'd mention that I happened to watch 1 of the Orlando mets and he mentioned something along the lines of a model trying to form a low pressure around the Gulf that may keep Dennis closer to Florida than models believe..
I'm wondering like everyone else, where's this thing gonna go

This feature is currently in the mid-west area... I believe Tom Terry said this earlier too.
I Doubt it.

I heard this also, it was Tom Terry but I took it with a grain of salt. I personally think were safe from Dennis.... note: that this is only my opinion I am not a forcaster by any means.

I tend to agree with you. The only thing that bothers me, is that Tom Terry was bang on with all four storms last year, in some cases making his forecasts long before the NHC budged, bucking the general consensus of the bulk of mets, including many here. I am going to wait until he is proven wrong until I rule him out.

I heard a further discussion about a shortwave moving southeast over Kansas that could continue heading south, amplify the trough behind Cindy, grab Dennis before the models are indicating and take him northward sooner.
lol - sounds like a soap opera.
*cue dramatic music*
Cindy: "Oh, Dennis. I know you've been stalking me for months because I went out with Louisiana first, but I can no longer deny my feelings for you. Ever since Trough ate that shortwave and got a beer gut I've realized you're the only one for me, psycho or not. Grab my outflow and come with me, darling! ::heaving chest::"
Dennis: "Who loves ya, baby!"
*cue longing stares across the GOM* *fade to black*

You didn't sleep a wink last night, did ya?
And with Dennis looming, you won't.

You're starting to scare me a bit HurryKane.
Get some sleep
Wait'll I stumble into work tomorrow and greet you with some fabulous Samsonite-sized bags under my eyes.
BTW, if Cindy and Dennis DID finally get together, I suppose Emily would be the "air" apparent borne of this stormy relationship?
BOOO! And, hehehheh.
