Has a landfall near the keys then a towards towards the N/NNE into a weakness across the Eastern seaboard. Landfall near you guessed in Punta Gorda....

Already being discusssed, and something that should not be taken seriously, NAM does poorly in these situations.

1008 mb ... wow... Powerful!
it makes it all the way from it's
preasent position... births a low
that goes south of Jamaica...
then proceeds to Key West and
doesn't lose any of it's original
tropical depresion strenghth?

Yeah, how can you take a model seriously that initializes Dennis with a 1008 mb low?
