but its waking up to seagulls, pulling out your wakeboard and chilling with friends all day out on the bay. its fishing in your favorite spot. I love living on the water, but its the price you pay.

The people in those resort areas at Cozumel and on the mainland south of Cancun are some of the most gracious, cheerful people I've ever met. Modest means, but happy and kind. All my best wishes for safety and comfort go out to them.

All my prayers going out to the people that are about to be and already are experiencing the wrath of this storm. Thank god that it did not sustain the 155 mph that it was and has weakend to 135 mph but that can still do devastating damage.

Hopefully it will move quickly enough as not to dump large amounts of rain and cause landslides.

Its really sad that on my cruise Im going on the last week of October into The First Week of November (Oct 20-Nov 5) a stop on there is in cozumel. I hope the place does not get destroyed but unfortunatley they may not be that fortunate.

I have been to Cozumel before and it was a really great place, I was looking forward to going back again, even though I was sick last time i went.

I seriously doubt Cozumel would recover by then....they got 145 mph winds and the cat 4 surge....they likely have extensive damage going on down there.
