Signing On.

#1 Postby Swimdude » Tue Jul 26, 2005 5:48 pm

Of course, I've selected the button at sign-in that says "log me in each time I get online", or something to that effect.

However, about once every week or two, I get online, and i'm signed off S2K when I open the main forum page. It's not this that i'm wondering about... It seems that when I try to sign back on, it takes 10, 15, or even 20 tries. I'll go to the sign-in page, attempt to sign in, and instead of signing me in, i'll be directed right back to the sign-in page.

Hope that made sense... Any idea why that happens?

Usually this is a cookie issue. Other than that I don't know...

All righty. I was just making sure it didn't have anything to do with the site itself. I've got AOL, so that might explain some things. Anyway, it happened again today, and for the first time, I was signed on immediately without any trouble. Weird...

Thanks anyway!

I think AOL has some issues with message boards/cookies and all.

:uarrow: Yes, my aunt uses that software, and it works quite well. Thanks for the suggestion.

And for the record, the signing-in problem occured again right after I made that last post up there. :uarrow: It's really screwing with me there! Haha it's ok though. I'll tolerate it. :)
